We found an easier way to pressure wash curb after getting more requests to clean them. Before, when cleaning curb, we would have two guys cleaning with just their wands, but that seemed to take forever. So, we tried a different approach and used the surface cleaner instead.

Using The Surface Cleaner

The surface cleaner is used to clean large areas of concrete and is also perfect for cleaning long lengths of curb. It makes cleaning curb easier and faster. Before cleaning the curb, we pre-treat it with a detergent to help remove dirt and tire marks.

How To Pressure Wash Curb

The best way to clean curb with a surface cleaner is to walk forward cleaning the bottom (gutter) of the curb first, cleaning 10 to 20 ft. sections at a time. Then walk backwards with the surface cleaner on top of the curb to clean that area.

 

With one person cleaning the top and bottom of the curb with the surface cleaner, we have the second person follow and clean just the face of the curb. This technique allows two people to clean a couple hundred feet of curb in just a few minutes.
