We were contacted about pressure washing Averitt Express warehouse in Macon, Ga. They wanted the exterior of their building, a interior wall, concrete loading dock and four fork lifts cleaned. We scheduled pressure washing Averitt Express warehouse to be done at 8:00 am on a Saturday morning, this was their least busiest day of the week.
Prepping To Clean
We arrived ahead of schedule, and started the prepping process of the interior wall for cleaning. All electrical components, outlets, fans, exit signs, cameras and time clock needed to be covered, as well as the bulletin boards. This was done to protect the equipment from water damage and for our safety as well.
Our cleaning Process
The concrete dock had grease and dirt on it from the fork lifts entering and exiting the building. To be sure of getting it clean, Aspen Power Washing applied an industrial strength degreaser to the floor and agitated it in with soft bristle push brooms. We let the degreaser sit for 10 minutes after agitating it in, then applied our concrete cleaning machines.
Our Concrete Cleaning Machines
Our three concrete cleaning machines were connected to three 4000 psi pressure washers. The cleaners deep clean the concrete and remove dirt and grease as they glide across the floor. After we finished cleaning, the standing water left on the dock was pushed off using our floor squeezes.
Cleaning the fork lifts
We covered the fork lifts computers to protect them from water also. Industrial degreaser was applied to the exterior of the fork lifts, before being sprayed away with our 4000 psi pressure washer. We removed the grease from the body of the fork lift, as well as from the floor and wheel areas. Another job well done!
